Meet Danny Leibowitz: The man behind "Leibow's World"

A lawyer, musician and all-around ardent thinker located in Washington, DC.  I am trying to get a hold on life and find meaning through learning about and understanding the reasoning behind beliefs, customs and passions throughout the world.  Some of my passions include writing, performing, and recording music along with seeing as much live music as I can.  I would like to use this blog to explore the often deemed "improper" subjects of politics and beliefs, both religious and not.  Although these subjects often make us squirm in our seats, they are of vital import and must be discussed if progress is ever to be made in our ever dividing society.  This seems like the perfect forum, so please don't be shy.  I encourage contributions via the "contact" page.

I am not interested so much in what people believe or the positions they hold, but, instead, what the reasoning behind those beliefs is.  Blind faith is probably the most dangerous thing in this world, so my goal with this outlet is to discuss flaws in reasoning behind various positions, dangerous assumptions, and current issues facing the world to get to the bottom of why we, as a society, disagree so fervently.

Music will be a substantial part of this blog as well.  I would say that my music preference is pretty eclectic.  From rock of all ages to jazz, broadway, classical, hip-hop, pop, and even Disney classics, I truly enjoy most any musical form.  My all-time favorite is most definitely improvisational and creatively exciting Phish.  Some other Improv-oriented bands I frequent are Umphrey's McGee, the Disco Biscuits, Big Something, the Heavy Pets, the New Deal, Future Rock, Lettuce and the String Cheese Incident.  In addition, I have a place in my heart for 90's hip hop and gems like Cake, Ween, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Prince, the Beatles, the Grateful Dead, CSNY, Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, and the Rolling Stones among many others.
